You can have the bottom of each foot touching the other, with your knees bent for more stretching in the hips and in the lower back. This form of exercise for your lower back is the best since it can be done in a seated position. Start this exercise with your arms placed on your hips. Now lift your right arm over your right ear with the palm facing down. Now bend at the waist without any twisting of the body. Reach outward with your right hand and down the left leg with the left hand. Repeat this process on the other side.

In a small village there lived a lazy Brahmin Ramdas. He would do nothing but daydream whole day. Whenever he was hungry, he would out, beg for food, come back and laze.

“I will then go to the market and sell the ghee ” his dream continued. “With the money I get, I will buy a pair of goats. They will have kids after six months. Soon I would have an entire herd of goats.” 
“Then I will continue my business. I will barter the goats for cattle. I will buy some more cows and own a farmhouse. I will start a dairy farm. Once I earn a handsome amount I will employ people in my farm. I can also open a sweet shop in the middle of the village. I will make sweets out of the cow’s milk.” The Brahmin kept smiling to himself. 
 
“How smart I am,” he thought. “The day I become a rich businessman I will build a big house right in the middle of the village. There will be a splendid garden and a swimming pool in front of the house. Early morning I will bathe in the blue waters of the pool. Seeing such a lavish lifestyle, the village headman will come to my house and plead for my hand for his beautiful daughter.” “After I get married,” Ramdas continued dreaming. “I’ll make her work throughout the day. 
If she fights with me, I will jump up and give her a kick!” 
 
Engrossed in his thoughts, he struck out with his foot, breaking the pot, and drenched himself with the milk.

“Dear I did not find any food today. I think we can forgo our meal but the kids need food and this jackal cub would suffice them,” said the Lion. 
 
At this the Lioness said, “No, dear, I cannot be so cruel. I am a mother and after all this is a young baby. I will bring it up as my son.” 
 
So it came to be that the baby jackal stayed with the lion’s family and grew into a young and healthy jackal.. The time came when the Lioness taught the jackal and her two sons the art of hunting. Soon they were skilled at hunting small rabbits and deer. 
 
One day when out for their hunt the three encountered a mad elephant. The lion cubs, fearless as they were approached the wild beast to kill it but the jackal said to them, “No, brothers, do not go near him for elephants are our enemy. You will be killed.” 
 
Hearing this the valiant Lion cubs lost courage and shrunk back. 
At home they narrated the incident to their mother, the Lioness. The Lioness took the jackal aside and advised, “You are valiant in your own right and though I fed you my own milk and brought you up as my son you are still a jackal. If you tease my sons their lion spirit would at once react someday and you shall be sorry for that. Now you are young and do not know the difference between the lions and the jackals, I ask you to go away to your own kind. Go and join them before it’s too late.” 
 
The jackal understood the logic of the Lioness’ talk and stole away stealthily to join his own kind.

It is well known that crabs and herons have been enemies since ages but sometimes grief and sudden loss does affect one’s power of thinking wisely. Thus, a heron fell prey to a crab’s wicked trick. 
A heron once stood by a lake with a grim face. From a distance a crab had been watching him for along. So he enquired. 
 
“Dear Uncle, what ails you so see you are very sad and grief-stricken today?” 
“Dear, Dear, what do I tell you?” cried the heron. “We have been living happily on the nearby tree for years. All our previous generations have grown up on it but alas there would be no more herons on this tree I” 
“Why is it so, Uncle Ps questioned the crab. 
“It is because a snake has come to live in the tree-hole and he eats up our chicks each time they hatch. I have no way of getting rid of the devil.” 
 
“Uncle, I have a remedy for you,” suggested the crab. “A mongoose lives in a hole on a nearby tree. All you have to do is put a trail of fresh fish from the mongoose’s hole to the snake’s tree-hole. The mongoose will follow the trail feeding on the fish and when he reaches the snake’s hole they will surely fight. The snake will be killed by the mongoose and you would be free from all troubles.” 
 
The heron thanked the crab profusely for his advice and soon set out to carry out the plan. 
The plan did work but after killing the snake the mongoose ate up the heron’s chicks too.

A poor and old farmer lived in a village. He had a beautiful and young wife.. The young wife always yearned to enjoy life by going to fairs and by spending a lot of money on finery.  But due to his old age arid feeble health, the old farmer hardly left his house and did not earn more than that which was necessary. So the young wife often felt sad. The couple often fought each other. 
One day, a rogue overheard their quarrel and saw the young wife running out of the house in tears. He followed her and then approached her to talk. 
“Dear, I overheard your quarrel with your old husband. You are very beautiful and young and the old man cannot fulfil your desires for fun and finery. I am a widower looking for a wife. I have a lot of money but no one to spend it on. So, why don’t you leave the old man and accompany me to the city ? We will start a new, blissful life 
together ?” 
 
To his suggestion, the young wife readily agreed. That night she gathered all her fine clothes and a substantial amount of jewellery and money and left with the rogue for the city. 
 
Early next morning, they reached a river on the outskirts the city. Then the rogue addressed the young woman: 
“Dear, please stay here on this bank while I swim to the other side and arrange for a boat to get you across. Hand over your jewellery and money to me, for seeing you alone, some bandit may try to take it away from you.” 
 
The young woman handed over the parcel of jewellery and money to the rogue and he left her on the river bank. The rogue had got what he wanted so he did not come back. 
Now, it was noon but there was no sign of the rogue and the young woman grew impatient as she sat waiting by the riverside. Just then a jackal came to the river bank with a large chunk of meat in his mouth. He spotted a large fish in the river water and in the greed of catching the fish he dropped the meat on the river bank. A hawk promptly swooped on the meat and flew away. The hawk’s movement alerted the fish and it too fled to the river bed. Thus, the jackal was left with nothing to eat. 
Seeing this the young wife laughed and said, “You fool, now you have neither the fish nor the meat to fill 
your hungry stomach.” 
 
At this the Jackal sneered at the young woman and said, “I am no different than you, for you have lost more than me.” 
“How is that?” enquired the perplexed woman. 
“You have lost your husband, your lover and your money. No one is as pitiable as you.” 
 
MORAL 
Desire for more may let you lose what you  lose what you posses.

Simha, the Lion King, had grown old and feeble. Even in such a state he once fought an elephant and 
sustained deep wounds all over his body. His faithful minister Chaturath, the Jackal, was by his side all 
the time. Since Simha always gave the leftovers of his hunt to Chaturath, his inability to hunt for food 
and the lack of proper food had rendered Chaturath  weak. Chaturath addressed Simha,” “My Lord, I have 
been hungry for days and my dry throat is troubling me, so I can hardly drag myself around,. Do something 
for our food. 
 
At this Simha said, “0 wise one, use your wisdom to trap an animal which I can hunt even in my feeble state.” 
Chaturath set out for the nearby village where he spotted Gardabh, the washerman’s donkey. 
“Uncle Gardabh, what a sorry state you are in,” said Chaturath. “I see bones sticking out of your body. 
Are you not well?” 
 
“Dear nephew,” replied Gardabh, “the washerman loads my back with heavy loads and gives me rioting 
to eat. I am living on this dry grass and thorny bushes.” 
 
“I did not know of your pitiable condition. If you shall come with me I will lead you to a grass field 
near the forest. The lush green grass there would soon turn you into a vigorous, healthy youth”, the 
wily jackal enticed Gardabh. At this Gardabh hesitated and then agreed. Soon Chaturath played 
his last card, “What’s more there are three she- donkeys who live in the grassfields. They have grown 
strong and healthy feeding on the luscious grass and now wish to marry a donkey from the village. So I am 
here for the same purpose.” 
 
This was enough to entice Gardabh, He happily followed Chaturath to the forest with dreams of 
emerald green grass and beautiful brides she donkeys. 
 
When Simha saw Chaturath guiding Gardabh to him, his hunger could not withstand it. He jumped 
at Gardabh with full force and haste. His hasty jump made him plunge over the donkey’s back to the other 
side. Gardabh was terrified at the sound of Simha’s  fall and was even more horrified at his looks. He soon 
ran away leaving Chaturath in a puzzled state. 
 
“My Lord, impatience is no virtue. Now you have scared away a good catch. I will bring him back but please control yourself before you jump.” So saying this Chaturath left for renewed enticement for Gardabh. 
On seeing Chaturath, Gardabh, exclaimed, “A fine grass-field you led me to and what was that ferocious and large creature I saw?” 
 
`Oh, that was one of the she-donkeys who has grown healthy eating the delicious green grags. She had only attempted to embrace you and you ran away in panic. Now she has vowed to marry only you or she will fast till death. 
 
This time Simha was ready to jump at Gardabh  ccurately and his sharp claws and teeth killed the foolish donkey immediately. 
 
Having killed Gardabh Simha felt like having a wash in the nearby stream before settling to a hearty meal. In his absence* Chaturath ate Gardabh’s ears and heart. On his return Simha was enraged to see the dead donkey with his missing ears and no heart. As he accused Chaturath of partaking of his hunt without his permission, Chaturath said, “My Lord, Gardabh was born with no ears nor any heart. That is why he came here, saw you with his own eyes, ran away in panic yet returned to meet his end.” 
Simha was convinced by Chaturath’s argument and proceeded to have his meal. 
 
Moral 
Avarice is the root cause of all evil.

Once there was a king who had a monkey as his friend and pet. He loved the monkey very much, fed him fresh fruits from the royal fruit orchards and even dressed him in finery. He, trusted the monkey- friend very much. 
 
One day the king decided to keep the monkey as his personal guard so that he could have the monkey with him all the time. The king then took the monkey everywhere from the battleground to the court and every time he travelled out of the kingdom. 
Now the monkey loved the king with the same intensity and was very proud and happy at having been appointed as the king’s personal guard. He had decided to carry out his duty with utmost devotion. 
 
The king kept the monkey with him all the time so when the king slept the monkey would guard the bed-chamber. He would see that no one disturbed the king when he slept and used to fan the king as he slept. 
As is known, the royal bed-chamber is bedecked with flower-pots and various perfumes and fragrances waft through its environs.  Attracted by these a bee once buzzed in through an open window as the king took his afternoon nap. 
 
As usual, the monkey sat by the king’s bed fanning him. When the monkey spotted the bee, he tried to chase it away by using his fan. But the bee lingered on buzzing around the king’s face. When after  continuous efforts the bee did not leave, the monkey was angered. Just then the bee settled itself on the king’s forehead. Angry as he was and in his devoted zeal to protect the king, the monkey drew out the king’s sword  that lay on the table. He promptly lifted the sword and struck at the bee on the king’s forehead. Alas 1 the obvious impact split the king’s head in two and brought the king’s end. 
 
Moral 
One should not make friends with a fool.

The Four Friends

Once in a dense forest lived four friends. The first was Mooshak, a mouse; the second Kak, a crow; the third Mantharak, a tortoise and the fourth Harini, a doe. The four friends used to meet every morning sharing jokes and discussing various matters. 
 
One morning, Mooshak, Kak and Mantharak sat by the lake side waiting for Harini. She was late and they were getting worried. 
 
Mantharak said, “Dear Kak, it is very late now, almost noon. Why don’t you fly around and locate Harini. I fear she is not in some danger?” 
 
Kok promptly took flight and while flying he spotted Harini trapped in a hunter’s net. 
“Oh dear Harini!”, exclaimed Kak, “Mantharak was right. Here you are trapped in the net while we waited for you.” 
 
“Dear Kak, do find some help and set me free,” cried Harini. 
Kak flew back to his friends and told of Harini’s plight. After thinking for some time Mantharak said, “Well, Kak, why not take Mooshak with you? He will gnaw at the hunter’s net and surely Harini would be free to join us.” 
 
That is right”, agreed Mooshak but in a grim voice he said. “How can I reach such a long way off quickly before the hunter’s arrival?” 
“Dont worry”, said Kak, “for I will carry you on my back.” 
So Mooshak hopped on Kak’s back and Kak flew him to Harini. Mooshak promptly set to cutting the net and soon Harini was free. By that time Mantharak, the tortoise, had reached the spot crawling slowly. 
Just as the friends embraced each other joyfully they heard the hunter’s approaching footsteps. Harini hid behind a. bush, Mooshak jumped into a treehole and Kak flew up to a tree. Mantharak scrambled towards a rock to hide beneath it. 
 
 
The hunter saw his damaged net and exclaimed, “Oh the doe has escaped and my net is torn too. Oh ! what is this—a fat turtle—better take this than the doe for at least I will not be hungry.” 
 
Thus, the hunter picked up the slow-moving tortoise and put it in his bag. Now Mooshak, Kak and Harini were worried about setting Mantharak free. They quickly made a plan. . 
 
At a distance, the hunter again spotted Harini chewing on lush green. He thought, “What luck ! A tortoise and the deer too for dinner tonight.” So saying he dropped his bag and went to catch Harini. But Harini was a fast runner and she led him far away. 
 
Meanwhile, Mooshak cut open the hunter’s bag and Mantharak was set free. As soon as Mantharak was safely hidden beneath a rock and Mooshak was in the tree-hole, Kak flew to Harini. 
 
Harini bound away fast and the hunter, tired as he was decided to return to his small catch, the tortoise. 
But was ! when he returned he found no tortoise and he had no doe for dinner either. 
 
 
Moral 
True friends are cherished treasures.

READ THE FOLLOWING STORY SLOWLY, IT'S A TOUCHING STORY I have a brother who is 3 years younger than me. I wanted to buy a handkerchief, which all girls around me seemed to have. So, one day I stole 50 cents from my father's drawer. Father had discovered about the stolen money right away. He made me and my younger brother kneel against the wall as he held a bamboo stick in his hand. 'Who stole the money?' he asked. I was stunned, too afraid to talk. Neither of us admitted to the fault, so he said, 'Fine, if nobody wants to admit, you two should be beaten!' He lifted up the bamboo stick. 
 
Suddenly, my younger brother gripped father's hand and said, Dad, I was the one who did it!' The long stick smacked my brother's back repeatedly. Father was so angry that he kept on whipping my brother until he lost his breath. After that, he sat down on our stone bed and scolded my brother, 'You have learned to steal from your own house now. What other embarrassing things will you are possibly doing in the future? You should be beaten to death, you shameless thief!' That night, my mother and I hugged my brother. 
 
His body was full of wounds from the beating but he never shed a single tear. In the middle of the night, all of sudden, I cried out loudly. My brother covered my mouth with his little hand and said, Sis, now don't cry anymore. Everything has happened.' I still hate myself for not having enough courage to admit what I did. Years went by, but the incident still seemed like it just happened yesterday. I will never forget my brother's expression when he protected me. I held the note while sitting on my bed, and cried until I lost my voice. That year, my brother was 17 years old; I was 20 years old. With the money father borrowed from the whole village, and the money my brother earned from carrying cement on his back at a construction site, finally, I managed to get to the third year of my study in the university. One day, while I was studying in my room, my roommate came in and told me, 'There's a villager waiting for you outside!' Why would there be a villager looking for me? I walked out, and I saw my brother from afar. 
 
His whole body was covered with dirt, dust, cement and sand. I asked him, 'Why did you not tell my roommate that you are my brother?' He replied with a smile,' Look at my appearance. My husband and I visited him at the hospital. Looking at the plaster cast on his leg, I grumbled, 'Why did you reject the offer of being a manager? Managers won't do something dangerous like that. Now look at you - you are suffering a serious injury. Why didn't you just listen to us?' With a serious expression on his face, he defended his decision, 'Think of brother-in-law. He just became the director, and I being uneducated, and would become a manager, what kind of rumors would fly around?' My husband's eyes filled up with tears, and then I said, 'But you lack in education only because of me!' 'Why do you talk about the past?' he said and then he held my hand. That year, he was 26 years old and I was 29 years old. 
 
My brother was 30 years old when he married a farmer girl from the village. During the wedding reception, the master of ceremonies asked him, 'Who is the one person you respect and love the most?' Without even taking a time to think, he answered,' My sister.' He continued by telling a story I could not even remember. 'When I was in primary school, the school was in a different village. Everyday, my sister and I would walk for 2 hours to school and back home. One day, I lost the other pair of my gloves. My sister gave me one of hers. She wore only one glove and she had to walk far. When we got home, her hands were trembling because of the cold weather that she could not even hold her chopsticks. From that day on, I swore that as long as I live, I would take care of my sister and will always be good to her.' Applause filled up the room. All guests turned their attention to me. 
 
I found it hard to speak, 'In my whole life, the one I would like to thank most is my brother, 'And in this happy occasion, in front of the crowd, tears were rolling down my face again. 
 
STORY MORAL: Love and care for the one you love every single day of your life. You may think what you did is just a small deed, but to that someone, it may means a lot.

July 26, 1999 will go down in the annals of Indian history as a day when the determined Indian forces achieved a glorious victory over the retreating Pakistani army. 
 
It was on this day that the Indian victory over Pakistan was complete. True to its character despite having to pay a heavy price for fighting a war within its territory, the Indian forces allowed the Pakistanis to return across the Line of Control (LoC). It was a gesture which depicted the great Indian tradition of forgiving even the enemy, when it pleads for it. For Pakistan, it was another lesson which it would probably not forget for a long time. It would also put Pakistan to shame, for it chose to torture and kill the Indian prisoners of War (PoWs), rather than handing them over safely as was done by India through the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). 
 
Fighting against all odds in the icy heights of Kargil, a remote region in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian forces ensured that the supreme sacrifice made by their gallant soldiers did not go waste. As the nation stood like a rock behind the men fighting a war forced upon India by Pakistan, the plea from Islamabad to allow a safe passage to the trapped Pakistani soldiers was an ultimate proof about the capabilities of the Indian defence. The successful eviction of Pakistanis by the concerted action of the Indian Armed Forces clearly demonstrated that while India remains a votary of peace, it has the will and the capability to fight and win a war. The advancing Indian forces left no stone unturned to ensure that not even one Pakistani soldier remained on the Indian soil. With the backing of the Indian Air force (IAF), the Indian Army achieved a feat which would be hard for any of the armies around the world to match. It was also a milestone in the history of military aviation, as it was for the first time that air power was deployed with such effectiveness in such a hostile environment. The lessons from Kargil would also be applicable to all Air Forces for the world. 
 
Though Indian forces initially suffered some losses, they were able to gain control of various heights very quickly. From Patalik to Chorbatla, from Valdor to Shangruti, the Indian soldiers were victorious everywhere. The Pakistanis were surrounded from all sides. Despite fighting uphill, the brave Indian officers and jawans cut through the Pakistani barricades. And for once the nation stood united like never before. The religion was relegated to the background and all communities were one. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari there was an outpour of emotion for the valiant Indian soldiers. Every time a body returned from the battlefield, entire nation shed tears and only vowed with further resolve to show no mercy for the Pakistanis. The nation also did not lag behind in lending the much needed financial support for the families of the soldiers who had laid down their lives protecting the Indian sovereignty. Aware of the need for a boost in the morale of the soldiers going to the front who had knowledge that they may never return home, singers and stars turned up in large numbers at the railway stations. The Indian cricketers also palyed their part and visited the hospitals where the wounded were being treated. It was an effort to show India was not divided as the enemy was hoping. 
 
Incidentally, our policy of restraint and resolve during the Kargil crisis was appreciated by the international community. The blatant misadventure of the Pakistani military establishment in Kargil failed miserably on the politico-diplomatic and military fronts. The Pakistani attempt in Kargil has had such far reaching effect that it has still not been able to emerge from the indignity it invited upon itself. 
 
Viewed against the background the historic initiative taken by Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee to visit Lahore in February 1999 and the signing of the Lahore Declaration, which clearly reflected India’s willingness and determination to resolve its differences with Pakistan through a process of dialogue and confidence building, the Pakistani intrusion in Kargil was a betrayal of trust. Even while accepting India’s extended hand of friendship in Lahore, Pakistan was planning its clandestine, unprovoked full-scale intrusion across the LoC. Taking undue advantage of the unheld gaps in the continous and glaciated terrain, Pakistan attempted this aggression against India which led to the occupation of strategic territory on the Indian side of the LoC. 
 
But in the end a great disservice was done by the Pakistani Army to not only all their countrymen but particularly to their soldiers, who were laying down lives in a war which had no idea, ideology or purpose. They did not know as to why they were fighting. While here in India there was an outpour of emotion and solidarity, the Pakistani soldiers died an unrecognised death. They were also not given a decent burial by their own men, whereas the Indian soldiers despite knowledge that these were the bodies of the enemy choose to give them a burial. For it goes by the Indian tradition to pay respect to the dead human, whoever he or she may be. Instead of recognising their sacrifices, the best traditions of the Armed forces, the Pakistani army not only treated their soldiers as cannon fodder, but adamantly refused to acknowledge their presence across the LoC. Later, despite being made fully aware of the identities of their slain soldiers, it continued to turn its back on the dead. This evidently was so because it would have immediately exposed the direct involvement of the Pakistani army. 
 
Unable to face the humiliation inflicted by the Indian forces, Pakistan finally did acknowledge that some of the dead were their men. But then it asked India to hand over the bodies to the ICRC rather than accepting them directly. This again reflected little or no concern of Pakistan towards its own dead soldiers who will never return home and to their families. In fact, by this refusal, the fate of many Pakistani soldiers will remain an unsolved mystery, a pain that will be very hard to endure. And, the pain and agony suffered as a result by the families of these soldiers who are no more will squarely rest with the Pakistani army. 
 
Kargil has lessons for both, India and Pakistan. India’s policy of peace has earned her recognition from world over, yet it must not take defence preparedness for granted. The lesson for Pakistan is, it must understand that dialogue is the best course for sorting out mutual problems between the two countries.

There was once a guy who suffered from cancer... a cancer that can't be treated. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once. 
 
So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. 
 
He saw a young girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat. 
 
She looked up and asked Can I help you She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there. 
 
He said Uh... Yeah... Umm... I would like to buy a CD. He picked one out and gave her money for it. 
 
Would you like me to wrap it for you she asked, smiling her cute smile again. 
 
He nodded and she went to the back. 
 
She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store. He went home and from then on, he went to that store everyday and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn't. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her. 
 
So the next day, he took all his courage and went to the store. He bought a CD like he did everyday and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn't looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ran out... 
 
!!!RRRRRING!!! 
 
The mother picked up the phone and said, Hello 
 
It was the girl!!! She asked for the boy and the mother started to cry and said, You don't know He passed away yesterday... 
 
The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy's mother. 
 
Later in the day. the mother went into the boy's room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet. She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all those CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one. 
 
Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper. The mother picked it up and started to read it. 
 
It said Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me Love, Jacelyn 
 
The mother opened another CD... 
 
Again there was a piece of paper. It said Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me Love, Jacelyn 
 
Love is... when you've had a huge fight but then decide to put aside your egos, hold hands and say, I Love You.

Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen. Thank you for the opportunity to speak at the leadership summit – the first of its kind for me. 
 
 
I am no leader. At best, I am a dreamer with perseverance to make dreams come true. As I have made my own dreams come true already, I am tempted to think we can make my country’s dreams come true. And that is why I am here. 
 
Before we become one with the world we have to become one with ourselves. If we get our own house in order we don’t have to make an effort to be one with the world. The world will want to be one with us. Everyone wants to be friends with happy, rich, thriving neighbors. Nobody wants a family festered with disputes. 
 
A lot is wrong in my country. There are too many differences. The question is not who we blame for this. The question is how do we fix it? Because to do anything great, you have to become one first. Two generations ago, our forefathers came together to win us Independence. It isn’t like we didn’t have disputes then. Religion, caste, community have existed for centuries. But Gandhi brought them all together for a greater cause – to get the country free. 
 
Today, we have another greater cause. To get India its rightful place in the world. To see India the way the younger generation wants to see it. To make India a prosperous, developed country, where not only the spirit of patriotism, but also the standard of living is high. Where anyone with the talent, drive and hard work alone has the ability to make it. Where people don’t ask where you come from, but where you are going. We all know that India, as we have all dreamt of that India. 
 
There is a lot required to be done for this, and it doesn’t just start and end by blaming politicians. For in a democracy, we elect the politicians. If our thinking changes, our voting will change and the politicians will change. And since I have made a nation that didn’t read, read, do I believe people’s thinking can be changed. 
 
To me there are 3 main areas where I think we need to change our thinking – leaders included. And I’m not just saying we need to do it because it is morally right/ ethically correct/ or because it sounds nice at a conference. We need to do it as it make sense from an incentives point of view. These three areas are changing the politics of differences to the politics of similarity, looking down on elitism and the role of English. 
 
The first mindset change required is to change the politics of differences to the politics of similarity. I’ve been studying young people in India, not just in big cities but across India for the last five years. 
They are the bulk of the population – the bulk of our voter bank. Yet, what they are looking for is not what politicians are pitching. It is not too different from the old school Bollywood where they think item numbers, big budgets and tested formulas work while the biggest hits of the year could be Rock On and Jaane Tu. Yes, times have changed. 
 
Here is what the politicians are pitching – old fashioned patriotism, defending traditions, being the torchbearer of communities, caste and religion. Here is what the youth wants – better colleges, better jobs, better role models. Compared to the talent pool, the number of good college seats are very limited. Same for good jobs. These wants are the biggest similarity that we all share. We all want the same things – progress. I see a huge disconnect in the political strategies of existing politicians vs. what could work for the new voters. 
 
I think broad based infrastructure and economic development will satisfy the young generation’s needs. It isn’t an easy goal to attain – but it is the great cause that can unite us. Today a dynamic politician who takes this cause can achieve a far greater success than any regional politician. And the slot is waiting to be taken. 
 
Another aspect required to convert the politics of differences to the politics of similarities is a strong moderate voice. When someone tries to divide us, people from the same community as the divider have to stand up against him. If person A is saying Non-Marathis should be attacked, then some Marathis need to stand up and say person A is talking nonsense. If a Muslim commits terrorist attack, other Muslims should stand up and condemn it, as Hindus are going to condemn it anyway. This moderate voice is sorely missing but is critical in keeping the country together. And the youth want to keep it together, as we want to be remembered as the generation who took India forward, not the one that cut India into two dozen pieces. 
 
I hate telling people what to do, but the media does have a role in this. I agree that media is a business and TRPs matter above anything else. However, there are ethics in every business. Doctors make money off sick people, but it doesn’t mean they keep people sick and not heal them. If you find a moderate voice, highlight it as soon as a divisive voice appears. And don’t take sides, argue or debate it. Don’t validate the ridiculous. Focus on the greater cause. 
 
The second mindset we need to change is that of elitism. From my early childhood days, to college, to professional and business life, and now in the publishing and entertainment circles, I have noticed a peculiar Indian habit of elitism. Maybe it is hard to achieve anything in India. But the moment any person becomes even moderately successful, educated, rich, famous, talented or even develops a fine taste, they consider themselves different from the rest. They begin to move in circles where the common people and their tastes are looked down upon. This means a large chunk of our most qualified, experienced, connected and influential people prefer to live air-conditioned lives in their bubble of like minded people. Naive people who elect stupid politicians – that is the bottomline for all Indian problems, and they want nothing to do with it. But tell me, if the thinking of the common people has to be changed, who is going to change it? What is the point of discussing solutions to Indian problems if there is no buy-in from the common man? Just because it feels good to be around like-minded, intelligent people? What is the use of this intelligence? 
 
If you switch on the TV, seventy percent of the time you will see Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. The reason is the media is centered in these cities. However, ninety percent of India is not this. Unless we represent these people properly, how will these people ever come with us? 
 
Again, I am not making these points as a moral appeal. I think understanding India and being inclusive makes massive business sense. And trust me, it doesn’t take any coolness or trendiness away from you if you do it right. Look at me, I am the mass-iest English author ever invented in India. My books sell on railway stations and next to atta in Big Bazaar. I have an Indian publisher who operates from the bylanes of Darya Ganj. And yet, on orkut the most common words associated with my name are coolness and awesomeness – tags given by my wonderful readers. I think it is cooler to know how people think in the streets of Indore and Raipur than who’s walking the ramp in South Mumbai. You may have planned your next vacation abroad, but have you visited a small town lately? Have you shown your kids what the real India is like? Don’t you think they will need to know that as they grow up and enter the workforce. Yes, I want people to look down on elitism and develop a culture of inclusiveness. If you are educated, educate others. If you have good taste, improve others taste rather than calling theirs bad. 
 
The last aspect where we need to change our thinking is our attitude to English. We have to embrace English like never before. Not England, but English. This point may sound contradictory to my previous one, but I am not talking about confining English to the classes, but really taking it to the grassroot level. English and Hindi can co-exist. Hindi is the mother and English is the wife. It is possible to love them both. In small towns, districts and even villages – we need to spread English. India already has a headstart as so many Indians speak English and we don’t have to get expat teachers like China does. But we must not confuse patriotism with the skills one needs to compete in the real world. If you are making an effort to start a school where none existed, why not give the people what will help them most. I can teach a villager geometry and physics in Hindi, but frankly when he goes to look for a job he is going to find that education useless. English will get him a job. Yes, I know some may say what will happen to Hindi and our traditional cultures. I want to ask these people to pull their kids out of English medium schools and then talk. If you go to small towns, English teaching classes are the biggest draw. There is massive demand for something that will improve people’s lives. I have no special soft spot for this language, but the fact is it works in the world of today. And if more English helps spread prosperity evenly across the country, trust me we will preserve our culture a lot better than a nation that can barely feed its people. 
 
We are all passionate about making India better, so we can discuss this forever. But today I wanted to leave you with just three thoughts – politics of similarities, less elitism and more English that we need to build consensus on. If you agree with me, please do whatever you can in your capacity to make the consensus happen. It could be just a discussion with all your friends, or spreading these thoughts in a broader manner, if you have the means and power to do so. For the fact that we are sitting in this wonderful venue means our country has been kind to us. Let’s see what we can give back to our nation.

    It was raining heavily outside. Dark clouds gathered in the sky and nature was in its ominous best. I took a break from my work and went to the pantry to grab a cup of coffee. I had a sip and went near the window to see the rain pouring down heavily outside the glass structure. I was inside our huge office building, unruffled by even the fierceness of the nature. Through the heavy transparent glass, I could see a small girl trying to hold on to her umbrella which the wind was snatching away from her. 
 
          I felt sorry for the girl, and was happy that I was not in a similar pathetic situation. Yes. I take pride for the fact that I am a software engineer. . I have everything which a common man would envy; money, status, respect, you name it I have it. I always wanted to be software professional and here I am, working for one of the best firms in the world. But then, am I really happy? Now, I could see an imprint of my palm on the other glass window, through which I reminisced my past, basked in the warmth of the sun shine. 
 
          My childhood was so much of fun. I vividly remember those rainy days, when I hugged my mother tightly during sleeping listening to all the stories told by her. Now, I have a big house here, but then it is just a house, not a home. My parents are pretty far away from me now. I have a cell phone to talk to them everyday, but then I really miss those dinners which I had with my family everyday. I could easily afford to taste all the   different cuisines these days, but the best of food there, lack the love and affection which is present in the food prepared by my mother. 
 
          I threw a lavish party for my colleagues for my birthday, but then they would never replace the birthdays when my friends secretly brought a cake and at the end, half of the cake would have ended up on my face. The couple of hundred bucks that u save for a long period just to give a treat to your friends in the road side chat shop can never give the pleasure even after spending a few thousand bucks these days. 
 
          The scene of me crying and refusing to have dinner on the day when I fought with my love came to my mind. Today, she has gone far away from me, taking away my love and with it my life, but I am sitting and coding here with a false smile on my face. Everyday I meet new people, but then I long ceased to make a new friend. 
 
          It's true that I have a lot of things now. I have a nice bed, but no time to sleep. Lots of money, but no friends to spend it with. The latest designer clothes, but a worn out body. Quite a few to flirt, but no one to love. Awards for technical excellence, but no reward for the crave for peaceful ambience. A confident demeanor, but a reluctant and apathetic mind. Full of rain, but no sunshine even in the farthest distance. 
 
          Now, I could see the small girl on the road enjoying in the rain with her umbrella firmly in her grip. She might not have all the comforts which I have, but then she has the innocence and fun which I lost a long time back. I have decided to come out of this false fantasy, even if it is at the expense of losing the tap of the software engineer. I am going to again enjoy my life. I am going to go out in the rain and play with the small kid now. I removed my tie, and went near my computer to shut it down. 
 
Just then, I saw a new mail alert in my mail box. I slowly opened outlook and I found a message from my manager with an attachment saying that there was a critical defect in the code and I have to fix it soon. I convinced myself that I am not going to get bogged down again by these pressures and stick to my decision. I ignored the mail and went to the rest room. After a couple of minutes, the software engineer in me came out, his shirt tucked in with the perfect tie knot, sat before the computer, and started coding...........

Her hair up in a pony tail, 
her favorite dress tied with a bow. 
Today was Daddy's Day at school, 
and she couldn't wait to go. 
 
But her mommy tried to tell her, 
that she probably should stay home. 
Why the kids might not understand, 
if she went to school alone. 
 
But she was not afraid; 
she knew just what to say. 
What to tell her classmates, 
on the Daddy's Day. 
 
But still her mommy worried, 
for her to face this day alone. 
And that was why once again, 
she tried to keep her daughter home. 
 
But the little girl went to school, 
eager to tell them all. 
About a dad she never sees, 
a dad who never calls. 
 
There were daddies along the wall in back 
for everyone to meet. 
Children squirming impatiently, 
anxious in their seats. 
 
One by one the teacher called, 
a student from the class. 
To introduce their daddy 
as seconds slowly passed. 
 
At last the teacher called her name, 
every child turned to stare. 
Each of them were searching, 
for a man who wasn't there. 
 
"Where's her daddy at?" 
she heard a boy call out. 
"She probably doesn't have one," 
another student dared to shout. 
 
And from somewhere near the back, 
she heard a daddy say. 
"Looks like another deadbeat dad, 
too busy to waste his day." 
 
The words did not offend her, 
as she smiled at her friends. 
And looked back at her teacher, 
who told her to begin. 
 
And with hands behind her back, 
slowly she began to speak. 
And out from the mouth of a child, 
came words incredibly unique. 
 
"My Daddy couldn't be here, 
because he lives so far away. 
But I know he wishes he could, 
be with me on this day." 
 
"And though you cannot meet him, 
I wanted you to know. 
All about my Daddy, 
And how much he loves me so." 
 
"He loved to tell me stories, 
he taught me to ride my bike. 
He surprised me with pink roses 
and taught me to fly a kite." 
 
"We used to share fudge sundaes, 
and ice cream in a cone. 
And though you cannot see him, 
I'm not standing here alone." 
 
"Cause my Daddy's always with me, 
even though we are far apart. 
I know because he told me, 
he'll forever be here in my heart." 
 
With that her little hand reached up, 
and lay across her chest. 
Feeling her own heartbeat, 
beneath her favorite dress. 
 
And from some where in the crowd of dads, 
her mother stood in tears. 
Proudly watching her daughter, 
who was wise beyond her years 
 
For she stood up for the love, 
of a man not in her life. 
Doing what was best for her, 
doing what was right. 
 
And when she dropped her hand back down, 
staring straight into the crowd. 
She finished with a voice so soft, 
but its message clear and loud. 
 
"I love my Daddy very much, 
he's my shining star. 
And he'd be here if he could, 
but heavens much to far." 
 
"Sometimes when I close my eyes, 
it's like he never went away." 
And then she closed her eyes, 
and she saw him there that day. 
 
And to her mother's amazement, 
she witnessed with surprise. 
A room full of Daddies and Children, 
all starting to close their eyes. 
 
Who knows what they saw before them, 
who knows what they felt inside. 
Perhaps for merely a second, 
they saw him at her side. 
 
"I know you're with me Daddy," 
to the silence she called out. 
And what happened next made believers, 
of those once filled with doubt. 
 
Not one in that room could explain it, 
for each of their eyes had been closed. 
But there placed on her desk, 
was a beautiful pink rose. 
 
And a child was blessed, if only for a moment, 
by the love of her shining bright star. 
And given the gift of believing that, 
Heaven is never too far. 
 
Dedicated to all children that have lost their Daddy or Mommy. Always remember they will be in your hearts.

If you saw the movie "Titanic," you know much of what took place 87 years ago tonight, when the ship that even God couldn't sink, DID sink. Of the 1,528 people who ended up in the icy water, only six were rescued. But did you know that one of those six was actually saved twice that night? 
 
His story is an inspiring reminder that there's more to life than mere survival. 
 
To tell this man's story, though, I have to first tell you about another man, a Scot named John Harper. Harper, a minister of the Gospel, boarded the Titanic with his six-year-old daughter, Nana. He planned to travel to the Moody Church in Chicago, where he'd been invited to preach for three months. When the ship struck the fateful iceberg and began to sink, Harper made sure his daughter was placed into one of the lifeboats. He then began what would be the last evangelistic work of his young life. 
 
As the freezing waters began to fill the ship, Harper was heard shouting, "Let the women, children and the unsaved into the lifeboats." Survivors reported that Harper took off his own life jacket and gave it to another man. "Don't worry about me," he reportedly said, "I'm not going down, I'm going up!" 
 
When the ship began to sink, more than 1,500 passengers jumped or fell into the icy waters. As they gradually drowned or froze to death, Harper was seen swimming from one passenger to another, pleading with them to accept Christ. 
 
Only six of the 1,500 people struggling in the water were later rescued, including a man who later identified himself as Harper's last convert. This young man had climbed up on a piece of debris. Harper, who was struggling in the water near him, shouted out, "Are you saved?" "No," the man replied. Harper then shouted the words from Scripture: "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." The man did not answer, and a moment later he drifted away on the waves. 
 
A few minutes later, the current brought the two men back together. Again Harper asked, "Are you saved?" Once again, the answer was "no." With his dying breath, Harper shouted, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." He then slipped under the waves for the last time. 
 
Then and there, the man he had witnessed to decided to turn his life over to Christ. Four years later, at a Titanic survivors meeting in Ontario, Canada, this man tearfully gave his testimony recounting how John Harper had led him to the Lord. 
 
I don't need to tell you that this dramatic story never made it into the movie. We live in a culture that seems to be more interested in fictional stories of romance, illicit sex, and priceless jewelry than in the real romance between God and His people. 
 
When the subject of the Titanic comes up, as it may today on the eighty-seventh anniversary of the sinking, tell your friends the story of the young Scottish minister who witnessed to Christ with his dying breath. And make sure your kids know the story a well. John Harper reminds us of a great lesson, the secret of the ages: that there's more to life than mere survival.

I have to write about the encounter I had yesterday as I was sitting in a Dr's office with my patient. Two ladies walked in, I could tell they were mother and daughter due to the look alike, but what was so unusual, one was holding a babydoll. she sat in her chair and rocked her doll back and forth, stroking it's head and patting it's back, she would kiss it and love it. she was very quiet but was infectiously smiling, she had the most serene smile I guess i've ever seen, she watched everybody as they went in and out without saying a word,often looking up at her daughter with pure love, and it was returned, the daughter had the same smile as her mother, and you could tell the bond between them. 
 
I know it's rude to stare, but this is a situation one couldn't help, this daughter acted as if it was the most common thing in the world that a mother take her doll to the Doctors office, she didn't care what people might think of her mother or make fun of her, this was her mother and she was doing what was best.>But not many children would be as thoughtful as this daughter, they would be ashamed to be seen in public with a grown woman holding a doll. it would be unspeakable. 
 
I spoke to the daughter before leaving the building and commended her for being so caring toward her mother, she said 'I love my mama' but now i'm the mama, her mother looked up at her and smiled as if to say, i'm glad, a picture is worth a thousand words. I told her my profession and how many times I've seen children abuse their parent verbally. 
 
I worked six years on one of my private sitting jobs and then resigned for this very reason. I had my mother six years, she had alzheimers and parkinsens disease, if you've never had to deal with just one of these illnesses your blessed. but a caregiver has to do what has to be done, if you take your child to a facility where you know it's going to take awhile, what do you do? you take a toy, well these people are back in their second childhood, they don't know any better. I told the daughter, your mom probably considers the doll as being you as a baby. 
 
The daughter thanked me for the praise and said not many people would understand, and that I was the first one who had commended her. This should not be, if you see someone who has went that extra mile for someone, especially an aged parent, give them applause, tell them how great you think it is in their effort to see to their loved one. It is not an easy task.

My husband is an Engineer by profession, I love him for his steady nature, and I love the warm feeling when I lean against his broad shoulders. Three years of courtship and now, two years into marriage, I would have to admit, that I am getting tired of it. The reasons of me loving him before, has now transformed into the cause of all my restlessness. . I am a sentimental woman and extremely sensitive when it comes to a relationship and my feelings, I yearn for the romantic moments, like a little girl yearning for candy. 
 
My husband, is my complete opposite, his lack of sensitivity, and the inability of bringing romantic moments into our marriage has disheartened me about love. One day, I finally decided to tell him my decision, that I wanted a divorce. "Why?" he asked, shocked. "I am tired, there are no reasons for everything in the world!" I answered. He kept silent the whole night, seems to be in deep thought with a lighted cigarette at all times. 
 
My feeling of disappointment only increased, here was a man who can't even express his predicament, what else can I hope from him? And finally he asked me:" What can I do to change your mind?" Somebody said it right, it's hard to change a person's personality, and I guess, I have started losing faith in him. 
 
Looking deep into his eyes I slowly answered : "Here is the question, if you can answer and convince my heart, I will change my mind, Let's say, I want a flower located on the face of a mountain cliff, and we both are sure that picking the flower will cause your death, will you do it for me?" He said :" I will give you your answer tomorrow.... " My hopes just sank by listening to his response. I woke up the next morning to find him gone, and saw a piece of paper with his scratchy handwriting, underneath a milk glass, on the dining table near the front door, that goes.... 
 
My dear, "I would not pick that flower for you, but please allow me to explain the reasons further.." This first line was already breaking my heart. I continued reading. "When you use the computer you always mess up the Software programs, and you cry in front of the screen, I have to save my fingers so that I can help to restore the programs. You always leave the house keys behind, thus I have to save my legs to rush home to open the door for you. You love traveling but always lose your way in a new city, I have to save my eyes to show you the way. 
 
You always have the cramps whenever your "good friend" approaches every month, I have to save my palms so that I can calm the cramps in your tummy. You like to stay indoors, and I worry that you will be infected by infantile autism. I have to save my mouth to tell you jokes and stories to cure your boredom. You always stare at the computer, and that will do nothing good for your eyes, I have to save my eyes so that when we grow old, I can help to clip your nails,and help to remove those annoying white hairs. 
 
So I can also hold your hand while strolling down the beach, as you enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful sand... and tell you the colour of flowers, just like the color of the glow on your young face... Thus, my dear, unless I am sure that there is someone who loves you more than I do... I could not pick that flower yet, and die.. " My tears fell on the letter, and blurred the ink of his handwriting. ... and as I continue on reading... 
 
"Now, that you have finished reading my answer, if you are satisfied, please open the front door for I am standing outside bringing your favorite bread and fresh milk... I rush to pull open the door, and saw his anxious face, clutching tightly with his hands, the milk bottle and loaf of bread..... Now I am very sure that no one will ever love me as much as he does, and I have decided to leave the flower alone... That's life, and love. When one is surrounded by love, the feeling of excitement fades away, and one tends to ignore the true love that lies in between the peace and dullness. 
 
Love shows up in all forms, even very small and cheeky forms, it has never been a model, it could be the most dull and boring form.. . flowers, and romantic moments are only used and appear on the surface of the relationship. Under all this, the pillar of true love stands... and that's our life... Love, not words win arguments...

A cold March wind danced around Dallas as the doctor walked into Diana Blessing's small hospital room. It was the dead of night and she was still groggy from surgery. Her husband, David, held her as they braced themselves for the latest news. That rainy afternoon, March 10, 1991, complications had forced Diana, only twenty-four weeks pregnant, to undergo emergency surgery. At twelve inches long and weighing only one pound, nine ounces, Danae Lu arrived by cesarean delivery. 
 
They already knew she was perilously premature. Still, the doctor's soft words dropped like bombs. "I don't think she's going to make it," he said as kindly as he could. "There's only a 10 percent chance she will live through the night. If by some slim chance she does make it, her future could be a very cruel one." Numb with disbelief, David and Diana listened as the doctor described the devastating problems Danae could face if she survived. 
 
She would probably never walk, or talk, or see. She would be prone to other catastrophic conditions from cerebral palsy to complete mental retardation, and on and on. Through the dark hours of morning as Danae held onto life by the thinnest thread, Diana slipped in and out of drugged sleep. But she was determined that their daughter would live to be a happy, healthy young girl. David, fully awake, knew he must confront his wife with the inevitable. 
 
David told Diana that they needed to talk about funeral arrangements. But Diana said, "No, that is not going to happen. No way! I don't care what the doctors say, Danae is not going to die. One day she will be just fine and she will be home with us." 
 
As if willed to live by Diana's determination, Danae clung to life hour after hour. But as those first rainy days passed, a new agony set in for David and Diana. Because Danae's underdeveloped nervous system was essentially "raw," the least kiss or caress only intensified her discomfort, so they couldn't even cradle their tiny baby. All they could do, as Danae struggled beneath the ultraviolet light, was to pray that God would stay close to their precious little girl. 
 
At last, when Danae was two months old, her parents were able to hold her for the first time. Two months later, she went home from the hospital just as her mother predicted, even though doctors grimly warned that her chances of leading a normal life were almost zero. 
 
Today, five years later, Danae is a petite but feisty young girl with glittering gray eyes and an unquenchable zest for life. She shows no sign of any mental or physical impairment. But that happy ending is not the end of the story. 
 
One blistering summer afternoon in 1996 in Irving, Texas, Danae was sitting in her mother's lap at the ball park where her brother's baseball team was practicing. As always, Danae was busy chattering when she suddenly fell silent. Hugging her arms across her chest, Danae asked her mom, "Do you smell that?" 
 
Smelling the air and detecting a thunderstorm approaching, Diana replied, "Yes, it smells like rain." Danae closed her eyes again and asked, "Do you smell that?" Once again her mother replied, "Yes, I think we're about to get wet, it smells like rain." Caught in the moment, Danae shook her head, patted her thin shoulder and loudly announced, "No, it smells like him. It smells like God when you lay your head on His chest." 
 
Tears blurred Diana's eyes as Danae happily hopped down to play with the other children before the rain came. Her daughter's words confirmed what Diana and the rest of the Blessing family had known all along. During those long days and nights of the first two months of her life, when her nerves were too sensitive to be touched, God was holding Danae on his chest, and it is His scent that she remembers so well.

We were in the college when my friend fell in love with that girl. It was her first day at college when we actually met her. My freind Akash was attracted towards her as she was most beautiful girl in that college. He wanted to talk to her but as we were seniour to her we were in different classes. 
 
It was so strange that he had such feelings for her. As it is said,' love at first sight', yes the same thing had happened in his case too. He was in love with her. 
 
After few days we however managed to talk to her,she was not just beautiful but also a nice human being with a heart of gold. We came to know that her name was Shruti. 
 
They started meeting each other frequently and soon both of them confessed they love each other. I was much more happier for my friend as he got what he had wished for.They were enjoying in there own dreamland. But life was not that easy as they had thought,all the happiness were just for a moment. 
 
Soon they had to face many problems in there life when we came to know that Shruti was the sister of Kunal. He was our classmate but our relation with him was not so good. 
 
He belonged to a political background and also was our college president, he had some attitude problem. When he knew about them he was furious and took her away from college. Her family was strictly against their relation and they even locked her in the house. 
 
It was being really difficult for them to spend a day without meeting each other. One day we got a message from her, she was thinking to run away with him. 
 
In that situation we also thought that it was a right thing to do as her family would never be ready for their marrige. One night he went to her house, took her and ran away. It was the biggest mistake that we did. 
 
After few days her brother found them, there was huge fight between them. My friend Akash was badly hurt and he couldn't stop him from taking her with him. In her house her parents were planning her marrige with some other man.When I came to know about them it was really late. 
 
I took Akash to the hospital. He was unconcious for whole day, after one day when he opened his eyes he asked for her. I was not answerable to him. The same day Shruti was forcefully getting married to someone else. 
 
I had no idea what to do.There in her house she was going through same problem. Her family could never understand their love so she had no othere alternative left. She decided to suicide rather than getting married to some other guy. 
 
When she was getting ready she took poision and gave up her life.When Akash knew about this he has stoped responding to anything. He is living like a statue,there is no life in it.
